154CM Stainless Steel

Our 154CM stainless steel knife blade holds an edge about three times as effectively as a 420 series stainless knife. And, we add a glazing process for a highly polished blade that is extremely smooth and resistant to corrosion.

Based on the original Charge, we designed these new 6061, T6, aluminum alloy handles with the toughest jobs in mind. Heat treated and hard anodized for unparalleled wear-resistance and strength. Crafted with round edges for unbeatable comfort, we put these handles through the paces before they got their “badge” of approval.

Unique Cutting Hook

The first multi-tool with a cutting hook— Charge ALX is ready for any emergency, job or adventure. Our cutting hook slices through seat belts and linoleum just as easily as leather or hide.

Charge® ALX Bits

Made from S2 Tool Steel (HRC59).

Each bit is engineered and manufactured to Leatherman’s exacting standards. Made from S2 Tool Steel, they are 35% stronger than stainless. A zinc coating makes them even more corrosion resistant. All are ground to perfection and have a Rockwell hardness of 59 on a Rockwell C hardness scale.

Charge® ALX Sheaths

The Charge ALX sheath comes in both leather and nylon. Both versions will carry the tool in the open or closed position and two side pockets hold your extra necessities – even a mini-flashlight. An inside back pocket holds Charge ALX’s included bits and it has room for a full Bit Kit (sold separately) giving you up to 42 bits to choose from.
